The driver enjoys full instrumentation, including dual speedometers, along with Teleflex controls and steering. Rotocast driver and observer seating are supplemented by a padded-bow lounge and rear seat with a lot of storage.
A unique twin-tunnel hull design reduces wetted surface to allow the boat to cruise efficiently, while a deep-profile bow section softens chop and deflects spray to provide a more comfortable open-water ride.

Attach a ski rope to the swivel-top pylon, and the other half of the SunStar's dual personality takes over. Our test team reported great slalom wakes across the board and world-class wakes in the 34-36 mph range at the medium line lengths, where the average slalom warrior does battle. "A nice slalom boat that tracks well" is how our lead slalom skier described the SunStar.
Often, such pronouncements are followed by an apology for smaller 'boarding wakes, but this is not the case with SunStar. Instead, our riders found well-shaped wakes that will accommodate both beginners and advancing riders. To maximize wake size without resorting to after-market ballast tanks or weights, the crew can simply fill the built in ballast tank.
